Thaipusam, el fervor de quienes se perforan la piel

Cada año en las cercanías de Kuala Lumpur, capital de Malasia, los adeptos a un ritual hindú se perforan la piel de la espalda o la cara con garfios y cadenas. El festival hindú de Thaipusam es una experiencia fuerte en la que los participantes aceptan sufrir para purificarse.
